Our Background
CeSHHAR Zimbabwe was registered as a trust in 2012, and as a Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO) with Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare in 2014. CeSHHAR conducts research, delivers programmes, and strengthens capacity to inform health policy and programming in Africa and beyond. We partner with Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC), Ministry of Environment, Climate and Wildlife (MoECW), the National AIDS Council (NAC), the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM) and international and regional centres of research excellence to provide high quality sexual reproductive health services and determine the impact, uptake and cost effectiveness of novel sexual and reproductive health interventions. CeSHHAR works at the forefront of finding innovative solutions supported by a range of international donors addressing three thematic areas:
1) Key Populations,
2) Sexual and Reproductive Health
3) Climate, Environment and Health.
